Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Multi-factor authentication is now active across the organization.
In addition, please follow these guidelines to get help for IT-related issues.
For issues related to research software (including requests for licenses), contact Wen-Chieh Lin. Miranda Steele is the point of contact for Communications software.
For issues related to equipment, accessories or administrative software (e.g., Adobe Acrobat), contact JoDonna Perry.
For system-level issues (e.g., internet is out of service or phones are down), contact JoDonna Perry or Nancy Ruf, who can work with ISG and vendors to troubleshoot.
For individual issues, please continue to contact the ISG help desk, helpdesk@isgtech.com.

KHI announced on September 15, that the Kansas uninsured rate is now higher than the national rate, according to new data from the U.S. Census Bureau. The announcement was picked up by several news organizations. Reporters interviewed KHI Senior Analyst Phillip Steiner for the articles below.

Volunteers Needed for Meals on Wheels
Cynthia Snyder receives Meals on Wheels cooler containing warm meals to be distributed to clients.
KHI volunteers are needed to deliver Meals on Wheels on the third and fourth Wednesdays of each month. Pick-up begins at 11 AM. The number of recipients varies but the bulk of deliveries are made in under an hour.
Watch for updates on KHI community volunteer services. Use of volunteer time must be approved by the employee’s supervisor in advance in the same way that other leave requests are processed.
ELL Update
Thank you to all staff who participated in the first two sessions of our ELL Learning Series, on 8/24 and 9/7.
These discussions on racism and health equity have been valuable, and we look forward to continuing! The following sessions are on already your calendar, and two more will be added in 2023.

Goodyear Blimp was spotted flying over the KHI Building on Sept. 20. Officer Jose KHP-Capitol police spotted the blimp flying near the dome.
