Jasmin Kamruddin
Hi everyone, I’m Jasmin Kamruddin and I will be a summer intern here at KHI until the end of July. I am here as part of a summer field experience for my dual degree MD/MPH program at Tufts University School of Medicine. I am particularly passionate about access to care, health equity and the intersection of race, health policy and patient care.
I am looking forward to working with everyone and learning more about the scope of public health and the work KHI does! Here are a few things about my background and some fun facts!
I have lived in California, Georgia, Virginia and now Massachusetts.
I attended Stanford University for my bachelor's degrees where I studied political science and African and African American studies
I love to cook and create communities around food! I have a food instagram (@jasmins.table) where I showcase some of my meals!

Alex Ferguson
Welcome back Alex Ferguson! Alex will be at KHI through mid-August 2022. Alex graduated from K-State this year, and she is pursuing her masters in statistics and data sciences at the University of Missouri, Columbia.
Last Summer, Alex worked at KHI exploring various data visualization tools, and she continued to work with us on Kids Count and Tobacco Retailer Licensing throughout the school year. This summer, she will work on the CCNK Cover Kansas Navigator project, update the Data Library, and apply data visualization for the Annual Insurance Update and other projects.
