About Cathy’s newest coworkers: “Number 84 (yes, that is her name) is probably my favorite because she is the friendliest.
In this picture, she is hoping I have an apple. She prefers left-over apples from KHI. She is our only solid-colored cow.
The other nine look like Number 91 (who also wants an apple).
We also have 10 new calves, between the ages of one week and two months. They are supposed to be Black Herefords, like their mommas, but a few of them surprised us by being Red Herefords. That said, the color really doesn’t matter.”
