Evergy Plaza Downtown Topeka

The Evergy Plaza team is excited to bring back live music to Downtown Topeka with this brand-new summer event series titled Eats & Beats. This 13-week series will take place every Thursday evening 6:30-9 p.m., through August. These events will include music on Cap Fed on 7th Stage, food trucks and beer gardens surrounding the event. Splash Pad: Come cool off in the Every Plaza Splash Pad. Hours of operation:

Sunday: Noon to 5 p.m.

Basehor

Holy-Field Winery

Holy-Field Winery in Basehor is a gem. It’s located in south Leavenworth County near Kansas City, Kansas. They offer a family-friendly music series during the summer on Friday nights (see the final two events of the season below). They also host a variety of events throughout the year such as Oktoberfest and Dueling Pianos. Lawrence

Culinaria

Culinaria is the creation of long-time Lawrence residents, Aaron and Regan Pillar, opening as a catering company in 2009 and transforming into a weekend restaurant in the fall of 2017. Located in one of east Lawrence’s most historic buildings, Culinaria features made-from-scratch, Mediterranean inspired cuisine, delicious wines and both classic and craft cocktails. Reopening April 15, 2021, Culinaria features a large, outdoor area for full-service dining and distanced indoor dining for the summer of 2021.
