Miranda and Family Travel Through New England
A family trip through New England did not disappoint and was a great way to transition from summer to fall! The road trip took us through MA, ME, NH and VT. We spent time in small-town bookstores, covered bridges, and a mom-and-pop sugaring operation (maple syrup production). Thanks to Bob for the recommendation to stop in Kittery Point, ME, where we picked apples and enjoyed the grounds of the Lady Pepperell House, as well as the sea views from nearby Fort McClary. The more popular sites were even better than what’s seen on Instagram: Portland Head Lighthouse and Acadia National Park. We were there right before the leaves changed colors, but at least it wasn’t too cold!

Steiners at Home
From Phillip and Courtney: Madeleine was born September 9 (the same birthday as her dad!) and weighed 7lbs 3 oz. Mom and baby are doing well. We are not sleeping as well as we used to but are loving every minute of all the family time. We really appreciate all the support and well wishes from everyone at KHI!
